Varjan, Matej ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Level and degree of association of selected motor abilities, motor skills in football players category U6. Objectives: The aim of the research is to identify the level of the selected motor abilities, motor skills and motor docility and to determine the degree of association between these performance components in football players category U6. Methods: The research group (n = 52; age = 6.1 ± 0.3 years) consisted of football players of SK Slavia Praha Youth Academy. The participants completed one-time test battery which consisted of motor docility tests (IOWA- BRACE test), five tests of the motor abilities (5m and 10m linear running acceleration, 5m flying maximum speed, standing long jump, 4x10m shuttle run) and two tests of the specific football skills (4x10m shuttle run with a ball, slalom skills test). The degree of association was determined via Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The part with the results provides information on the level of the players' motor abilities, motor skills based on the values obtained through performed tests. The statistically significant degree of association was found between all tests across the entire test battery except for one pair (long jump from place x shuttle run with a ball). Materially significant, medium to very strong correlation r =...
Motor skills and obesity in children
Křišťan, Zdeněk ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Čechovská, Irena (referee)
Title: Motor skills and obesity in children Objectives: The aim of this work is to gain theoretical knowledge about obesity, physical activities and to show positive impact of physical activities on children's weight. Consequently thanks to this gained knowledge create a physical program for a kid with obesity which will result into loss of weight of the kid with obesity. Hypotheses: 1. Not regulating gain of energy with spending of energy will result into gain of weight. 2. Under influnce of physical aktivity there is a positive gain of weight of a person. Methods: Information, data and findings of chosen issue were found with the help of recherche of specialised literature of czech and foreign publications according to key word in the title and in the text. Further information were gained from specialised articles, internet sources and other available publication. One of the criterion of that was also the author's expertness of the subject. Another included criterion was obesity, prevention of obesity and physical of children, on the other hand, the adults obesity wasn't included. This work was created based on the analysis and comparisson of collected data, which were apllied in the creation of the program for a obese kid. Jonáš, Michal ; Musálek, Martin (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Relation between motor skills, physical fitness and body composition in preschoolers age 4. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determinate if there are any significant relationships between motor skills, physical fitness and body composition in preschool age. Furthermore, to determine the degree of these relationships and their stability over time using repeated measures. Methods: The research group consisted of n=17 preschool-age children. For the evaluation of body composition we used the method according to Matiegka (1921) The level of gross motor skills was assessed with a TGMD-2 (Ulrich, 2000). To determine the level of physical fitness, a combination of agility test 4x5 metre, multistage 20-metre shuttle run, standing long jump, sit-ups, sit-and-reach and throw ball with alternative hands. Basic descriptive statistics, normality tests, Pearson correlation, paired T-test and regression analysis with level of clinical significance were used to analyze obtained data. Results: The results of our study did not find any clinically significant relationships between the level of motor skills, physical fitness and body composition. The largest relationship was found between the 4x5 m agility test and the jump within TGMD- 2 (r = -0.68). We found the highest stability (reliability) in the...
Check methodists for evaluation basic motory skill on 1.step primary school according to Haliwick method.\\
MARYŠKOVÁ, Barbora
My diploma work is aimed at verifying the methodology for assessing basic motor skills (running, long jump, overarm throwing and catching) at elementary schools according to Ms K. M. Haywood. It is a set of laboratory activities which help us assess a pupil's level of his or her motor skills. My task was either to confirm or to contradict the before mentioned methodology leading towards the level evaluation. My research took place in the third, fourth, and fifth class forms at the 3rd Elementary School in Jindřichův Hradec. The total number of participating pupils was 60. the result of my laboratory activities can serve some teachers (with regard to their personal knowledge) as a guideline for planning a sort of meaningful and appropriate teaching lessons aimed at improving pupils' skills.\\
